Scammers Out in Force for Super Bowl

This time of year scammers know just who to target to make a quick buck – football fans. From fake tickets to counterfeit goods, it’s the Super Bowl of Scams for football fans.

The NFL and the federal government have worked together this season to seize $13.6 million in fake merchandise from counterfeiters in this country and overseas. Football fans looking for a good deal can unwittingly buy these fakes, sending their money to organized crime cartels and getting shoddy knock-offs in return.
